Step aboard the legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid and discover more than two dozen restored aircraft on the Flight Deck, explore the combat information center and crew quarters, and experience what life was like for over 50,000 servicemen. Dive into history with interactive exhibits on the Hangar Deck that bring the ship’s rich legacy to life. In the Space Shuttle Pavilion, marvel at Enterprise, NASA’s prototype orbiter, and learn about the early U.S. space programs, Mercury and Gemini, through immersive displays featuring artifacts, photos, and films. Then, climb aboard the Growler, the only American diesel-powered strategic missile submarine open to the public, for a fascinating glimpse into Cold War naval operations, complete with a tour of the torpedo rooms, command center, and crew quarters. For an extra fee, you can also view the British Airways Concorde, the world’s fastest commercial aircraft, which once crossed the Atlantic in under three hours. Don’t miss the special exhibit Apollo: When We Went to the Moon, featuring rare artifacts from the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and interactive experiences like leaving your own virtual footprints on the lunar surface.

To enter the Intrepid Museum, simply present your pass at the admissions counter. If the museum is at capacity upon your arrival, you’ll be assigned the next available entry time slot.
